Pricelessly precious!  This little girl came to hear about Jesus at an outdoor children's program we held in her rustic beach village in Melaque, Mexico.

Aww thank you! There were some kids down there that I wanted to pack up in my suitcase and take home! One such child was a 5-year old at a boys’ orphanage. (I had a hard time deciding between his picture and this one!!) He was the sweetest little thing that understood no English but had such a capacity to give and receive love. I often wonder how he ended up in the orphanage…

For those who may not already know, I am heading towards a medical mission trip to the Philippines at the beginning of next year. I have been wanting to go on a mission trip to the Philippines, and needless to say, I was more than THRILLED when God opened this door! The people there have captured my heart. Thank you again for your part in helping send me to them! And even if I do not win, I would very much appreciate your prayers!

If you haven’t already, help vote for my sister here https://www.mymissiontrip.com/?contestants=joyous-jewels-from-jesus !

May the Lord richly bless you as you serve Him wherever you are!

This photo shows some of the children that were hearing about Jesus in a small village in Melaque, Mexico. And isn’t it amazing how these children, (and even, it seems, one of the parents of the children is in the picture,) yet, just like our own children in America, they need the Lord and are just like us. We all need Him. He is reaching out to the entire world by sending young missionaries like Sarah Espineda and others dedicated to loving these children and all the little children of the world. I hope that many will see Sarah’s picture holding this precious little girl along with the others that surround her in this picture and see that God is at work here. To me it expresses the love Sarah has for the Lord. I know that it would mean a great deal to Sarah to again have the opportunity to go on another mission trip and share the precious Word of God to more dear hungry little souls who otherwise may never learn of God’s Wonderful Salvation Plan for their lives. I hope that she is able to go. Thank you for allowing me to express my thoughts and may God bless my dear sister in Christ, Sarah Espineda, for her beautiful love for the Lord and her willing spirit to sacrifice her time and talents to be used of God.

She seemed so closed up while we were there but then as I was leaving she threw her arms around me and cried and would not let go, saying she was going to miss me. There was pain in her eyes, she was afraid to receive love and yet, she yearned for it. How I pray they would fully learn of their heavenly Father and learn to trust Him!
