Chaos. Noise. Dirt. Amidst the clamor of 100 gypsy kids, I wondered what, if anything, they heard of the lessons we had taught for several days. Then the van pulled up... sex traffickers who employ girls from this village. Suddenly the grubbiness and noise faded. I turned, and behind me was a little girl sporting her new "Eyes of Christ" glasses. It challenged me: would I choose to be distracted by the lice, heat, and horrible conditions, or would I choose to see her with the eyes of Christ?
