This Is My Child

This is me playing with a child at the Kenyan children's home I served in this past summer with two other girls. Her name is Sharon; she's 4 years old and deaf, but make no mistake she is one of the happiest kids there. I fell in love with her the very first day when she climbed in my lap to read me a book. I was playing with her like I usually did and one of the other girls, my friend Jessica, decided to snap our sweet moment. "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you." John 14:18
