I had just finished teaching the kids in the village about dental care. They were surprised to learn that if you take care of your teeth you can keep them for life! They thought that your teeth were suppose to turn black, then you would go to the dentist and have to it pulled. The kids had no idea that this was not normal. After teaching the kids good dental hygiene I passed out new toothbrushes and toothpaste. Here, one girl is checking out her toothbrush, the first one she had ever seen!

As a staff member of Dr. Jeff Walls office, I know he would be thrilled to see your picture. He is always glad to donate to your cause.

Lori, I have a couple of pictures of the kiddos receiving their toothbrushes. I should print them out and drop them by the office sometime. I think Dr. Walls would really enjoy them.

  6. I am so glad that there are dedicated Christians like you who are spending their time going to foreign countries to teach people some of the simple things that we take for granted…..brushing their teeth, how to plant gardens to give them healthy food, and how to use sewing machines which you pray to get them from people in America. You are a special person.
