We love seeing how God provides to send his people on to the mission field to spread His Good News! This story is one of our favorites!! Emily was in the processing of raising the last $780 to go to Haiti and came across the “Captured in HIS Image” Photo Contest the LAST day we were accepting photos. So she submitted a photo and voting started the next day! After the 2 weeks voting period, Emily’s photo received over 1500 votes and she won 2nd place… $500 towards her next mission trip! “Around the middle of August I saw a post on Facebook about the photo contest with Mission Trip Insurance. It happened to be the final day to enter the contest so I quickly entered and waited for all of the entries to post the next day…I don’t believe that seeing the post on the last entry day was coincidence.
As the contest began I asked all my friends to LIKE and share the photo with others. It spread quickly. As the contest was drawing to an end, I received a $300 donation from a lady in my church dropping the final amount to $480! The contest ended and instead of coming in 1st place like I had hoped, I came in 2nd place but my trip was fully paid for with $20 extra for anything unexpected.
My God is so good! He knows how to take care of every little detail, down to a T. 🙂 ”
