Rules and conditions:
Anyone can submit a photo online at www.mymissiontrip.com to enter to win.
All photos must be submitted Sept. 17, 2014 – Sept. 30, 2013. All photos will be displayed on www.mymissiontrip.com at the same time to start voting.
Photos should portray “mission trips” and can be taken in the U.S.and Internationally, with no time limit on when the picture was taken. The person submitting the photo must have the rights and permission to use the photo, but does not necessarily have to be the person who took the photo.
Only one photo per person will be accepted.
Missiontripinsurance.com and mymissiontrip.com have the right to determine if a photo is inappropriate and will be removed from the contest. We will give the person who submitted the photo an opportunity to submit a more appropriate photo to be entered.
On October 1, 2014, all photos submitted will be uploaded to www.mymissiontrip.com in a post. Each photo will be posted with a description given. We will not display the person’s full name who submitted the photo. Each photo will have a vote button that will need to be clicked in order to cast a vote for that photo. In order to vote, registration of name and email will be required. We will never sell or bombard email addresses with junk mail!
Voting will end October 10, 2014 at 11:59 pm MST.
Winners will be announced October 11, 2014.
The person whose photo receives the most votes is the first place winner and will receive $750 to be used towards another mission trip. The second place winner will receive $500 to be used towards another mission trip and the third place winner will receive $250 to be used towards another mission trip and fourth place will receive $150 to be used towards another mission trip.
Missiontripinsurance.com will write a check to the organization or church sponsoring the mission trip. Due to IRS regulations the mission sending organization or church must be located in the US. The check will show the winner’s name listed on it and will be applied to their personal “mission account” through the organization or church. No checks will be written to individuals. The winners will need to provide proof of travel with a mission organization in order to receive a prize. If winners do not plan on taking a mission trip within the year 2013 – 2014, they can choose to gift the money to someone who is taking a mission trip. The check will be written to the organization or church sponsoring the mission trip. The mission trip in which the money is applied to must depart prior to December 31, 2015.
By uploading and submitting captions for the photographs, entrants certify and acknowledge that they own the photographs or have the right and permission to permit and allow missiontripinsurance.com and insurance consultants international to use, edit, publish and otherwise exploit without obligation or liability or compensation.
